Product Overview: These linear actuators are equipped with a built-in Potentiometer.  They are also known as feedback actuators or linear actuators with feedback. They are suitable for any application that requires position control or position feedback. The feedback actuators are small in size, durable, quite, powerful and easy to install. Each linear actuator with potentiometer comes with 5 wires, black and red (positive and negative) for power and 3 wires for the built in potentiometer. It also has built in limit switches (non-adjustable) and mounting holes on each end. Our linear actuators with feedback are popular in many fields including robotic, industrial, marine, medical and any application where precise positioning and feedback is required. The sizes available in stock for our feedback actuators is from 2 inches to 12 inches with a force of 150lbs and speed of 0.40 inches per second at no load. For same day shipping please ensure that you place your order prior to 3:00 pm Pacific Standard Time. Orders after 3:00 pm Pacific Standard Time will be shipped out on the next business day. We offer many different ground and air options for shipping, you will be given these options, price and shipping time during the ordering process. Controls: Our Linear actuators with potentiometers can be combined with our rocker switches or control boxes.  The rocker switches can be used to control the movement of the actuators. For wiring of the rocker switch to our actuators please view our wiring diagram in the Download Section of the website. If you wish to use one of our control boxes with your feedback actuator please note that you will have to purchase our AC-01 or AC-02 4-pin connector to connect the linear actuator with potentiometer to the control box.  The control box will only convert the DC power to AC and will not provide feedback. Mounting: Each linear actuator with feedback can be mounted on each end with our mounting brackets. The mounting brackets are specifically designed for mini dc linear actuators and our feed back actuators. Each actuator needs up to 2 mounting brackets. Custom Orders: If you do not find a feedback actuator that meets your needs we can customize one for you. The customization options include a stoke length from 0.2 inches up to 24 inches, additional voltages available are 24VDC and 36VDC and a custom force of 50lbs (1” per second) or 350lbs (0.27 inches per second). Other custom options for these linear actuators with feedback are mounting hole dimensions, connectors, and wire length. Any combination of customizations options can be used together.
