Product Overview: All heavy-duty linear actuators shown on the website are in stock and are 12 VDC.  These dc actuators are made for use with applications that require heavy lifting of items. These are very popular in commercial and industrial applications; however, they can be used in many household and hobby design applications as well. All our heavy-duty linear actuators are made with a built-in limit switches that will cut off the power when the stroke is fully extended or retracted as a safety mechanism and to avoid over burning the motor. The stroke sizes available for these dc actuators are from 1” to 24” with force of 850 lbs, 1,600 lbs and 2,000 lbs.

All heavy-duty actuators show on the website are available for same day shipping.  At Progressive Automations we offer different shipping methods both ground and air.  With our warehouses located in US and Canada, our customers are able to receive actuators with quick transit times and low prices.  In order to qualify for same-day shipping, please ensure that your order is placed by 3:00 pm Pacific Standard Time.  Any orders received after 3:00 pm will be shipped from the nearest warehouse on the next business day. Controls: Please note that all heavy-duty actuators available from Progressive Automations are in fact 12v dc actuators and can be used with our PA-27 control box if AC power is required.  The control box comes with wired rocker switch to control the dc actuator.  An option is available to have a single rocker switch on the control box to control two actuators simultaneously or up to 3 rocker switches to control 3 dc actuators individually.     In addition, customers have an option to use 12v battery together with a rocker switch.  To learn how to wire an actuator to the rocker switch please visit the wiring diagram in the Download Section of the website.   Mounting: Each dc actuator can be mounted on each end.  Please use our BRK-02 mounting brackets for these actuator models as they are specifically designed for these units.  Each unit requires 2 mounting brackets. Custom Orders: If you are not able to find the actuator that meets your specs, we can custom make it for you.  We can custom make the stroke sizes, voltage, force and dimensions that are not in stock from range of 0.5 inches to 24 inches (with internal limit switch) and 25 inches to 40 inches (without internal limit switch).  The custom voltage would be 24 VDC or 36 VDC.  Other custom options for these mini actuators are mounting hole dimensions, connectors, and wire length.  Any combination of customizations options can be used together.  In addition, each dc actuator can be made with a built-in potentiometer for an extra charge upon request.
