Actuators improve our lives, they make tasks that would take time and effort to complete quicker and with less effort. We recently came in contact with one of our customers that created a device to help patients with cerebral palsy feel the sensation of movement. The device was simple yet innovative. With the help of two linear actuators the students at the University of North Carolina created a device with a ramp that the patient can come onto and feel a slight roll movement forward, back and left to right. You can clearly see in the video that the patient is excited by the feel of this movement.
